I would love to see another season highlighting another major event in Ottoman history. The first was amazing. Perhaps the Battle of Lepanto?

Uthered is not just handsome but the acting is very effective.. Ive watched the last kingdom and just finish vikings season 6.. Very nice

People tend to think The Last Kingdom is just another Viking style drama - But they are Very Wrong! Some of the characters are not 100% accurate - however- The 'story' IS ACCURATE! - Written by Bernard Cornwell and is his own Family History - Not only have I watched it, I have read the books as well as one of the Archaeologists who helped with the facts being my greatest friend!

Roman Empire is underrated af. And it's opening theme is EPIC!

I'm a new fan of The Last Kingdom and I agree about the pacing in season 1. The magnificent David Dawson as King Alfred, he's my favorite character and the primary reason to continue to watch. Honestly, Uhtred had to grow on me because I wasn't interested in his character and found him to be a reckless arseling. But that scene at his infant son's grave was absolutely heartbreaking, I actually became emotional 😢
And huge shout out to Alexander Dreymon, his performance in that moment was so powerful. Now I'm on Team Uhtred. 🗡🛡

Loved The Last Kingdom. Frontier, The Outlaw King and l am about to watch The King. Love watching and reading all Historical movies and books.

I love The Last Kingdom. My only complaint is that their clothing and armour is not at all like what is described in the books. I would love to see Uhtred in all his war glory, with silver arm bands, chain mail and helmet.
