Engineer John, making memories to last a life time. I worked with John a few days ago. Indeed a great fellow, one of the many awesome folks who keep history alive. I paid for a cab ride on the Royal Gorge Route RR circa 2005. I forget the exact model, but an F7 I believe. Exciting. I was saddened by the death of a conductor many years later.

If I can ask why did the enginemen leave his seat? If there was a safety control foot pedal the train would've stopped. 😕
