Lyrics:

I know when he's been on your mind
That distant look is in your eyes
I thought with time you'd realize it's over, over
It's not the way I choose to live
And something somewhere's gotta give
As sharing in this relationship gets older, older

You know I'd fight for you but how could I fight someone who isn't even there
I've had the rest of you now I want the best of you I don't care if that's not fair

Cuz I want it all
Or nothing at all
There's nowhere left to fall
When you reach the bottom it's now or never
Is it all
Or are we just friends
Is this how it ends
With a simple telephone call
You leave me here with nothing at all

It's safe to say, that all of us that are listening to this right now are all in our 30s. I miss the 90s and early 2000s so much. Take me back!

For all you youngsters who were wondering what teenage life was like back in the late 90's and early '00s, this type of music genre and the first American Pie movie pretty much summed it up. Now in my 30's I reminisce back to those days and smile.

Im 38 and still love this type of music. I can listen to it all day and never get bored
  • There’s no way I’m the only one belting it as soon as the live chorus hits and you can hear everyone screaming at once. Chills.. literally, chills.. 🥹
  • MY ALL TIME FAVORITE.. KIDS OF 90's and 20's Otown - all or nothing Backstreet boys - drowning Weslife - swear it again A1 - like a rose Plus one - here in my heart 98'degrees - why we still be friend and my everything Nsync - this i promise you Boy II men - think of aliyah
  • In my 30s and I remember this era like it was yesterday. I wish we could have regular 90s-early 2000s nostalgia videos on MTV for like a week straight during the summer. I miss these times ❤

This generation will never know what a great music is… I miss this era… 😢
  • I'm turning 37 soon and these boys will always be my most treasured youthful memories. Their first album always lifted my spirits when I was down (abused kid)...And their songs still do even today. Thanks fellas, always. 😍🥰😭🥰😍
  • January 6 2021. No matter what year comes. 90's songs will never get old. And thats a fact💯🥰😉

The time of simplicity & innocence; where lyrics made sense and music touched our hearts. Nothing too crazy, just pure simple innocent love. Gosh I miss the 90ies/early 2000ies.

Man, when life was so much simpler. Sure, the world still had its problems, but the country wasn’t being burnt to the ground by hate or a virus. It was just easy high school and middle school living. People accuse the youngest Gen X’ers and oldest Millennials of being too nostalgic, but look at the 90’s/early 2k we grew up with and wonder how we can’t be. It’s ok to love everything about the life you have now but still wish the world was in a place it was then.

36 and I still love this era so much! I always feel high school again. Laugh as much as you want high school is so much easier than adulthood.
  • @dan003
37 year old straight British guy here who still absolutely loves this classic.

I was 12 years old when this video was released and debuted on MTVs TRL. I’m 34 years old now. Looking back, I miss my childhood because of this music! I love this song❤

This really is one of the best boyband songs of all time and it’s criminally underrated
  • @dbdz9736
The individual vocals in this song are just off the charts!...Dan's, Ashley's, Jacob's, Trevor's, Erik's...just amazing
  • Yup I turned 40 today and listening to all the boy bands from back in 1999-2000
