Gorilla: uses sign language Humans: clapping their hands together Gorilla:"Oh man, they're just not advanced enough.."

He goes through all the trouble to sign to them not to feed him and they throw him food anyway. I’m sorry you’re in that situation buddy. You deserve so much better.

Wow, his signing is extremely deliberate and with clear thought. Abstract thinking. He's very smart. You can see it in his eyes.

The fact that the animals know the rules better than the humans is bothersome

Gorilla goes out of his way to learn human sign language. Gorilla realizes, that most people don't know sign language -.-

It makes me so sad that amazing animals like this are endangered by us. 😢

I must admit, that low-IQ animal is so well trained, it’s quite impressive! Too bad he didn’t understand sign language, but at least he knows how to toss the gorilla an orange!
  • He is so frustrated. He even asked the humans if they understood, and no one answered. Clearly you know who's the smartest here.

I’m so impressed by his intelligence but more so his obedience and wisdom. Such amazing creatures
  • Koko not only could sign, she also lied. That takes a higher level of intelligence than just signing or mimicking signs. She got angry one time and tore the sink off the wall. She than told a person that her female trainer had torn the sink off, but humans are not strong enough to do that because of the way it was attached. I had a college course called Primate Behavior. It was co-taught by a biologist and an anthropologist. We each was assigned a primate to learn about, and since I was a Masters student (not in biology), they gave me chimps. For my paper, I concentrated on communication among chimps, which led me to review studies on communication between humans and the other Great Apes. They are amazingly intelligent beings.

Why do people keep throwing snacks in when zoo’s literally ask you not to. He even said please don’t LMFAO
  • This absolutely melted my heart, and the fact the humans didn’t respect him made me feel sad. 😢 I’m so fascinated with the intelligence of these wonderful animals!
