This was requested by SuperGamer87 some time ago. I just got approved for videos longer than 15 minutes so I thought it would be the perfect time to post this. This is mostly just a sounds video - nothing to see after the first few minutes.

This has been the best "sound machine" for my son. Gets him to calm down and sleep every single time. Amazing!

OMG I love to sit and listen to washer and dryer don't know why but always mellowed me out and got me focused

I definitely think toploader machines were the best. My granny had one and i could have listened to it go all day. So relaxing.who else wants one in 2018???

I am so happy to hear that so many people have love for washing machine sound . It is such wonderful way to fall asleep 😴

Back in the day (1970's) we used to put a cup of vinegar in the wash the first time we washed our blue jeans. It keeps them from fading so quickly. Then everyone started wearing faded jeans and we put bleach in instead.

It had to do with vibration and water. And temp. I used to have a chair next to it I’d sit and use my crossed arms as a pillow with my head on the washer.
  • Man if I could just smell a little tiny bit of bleach right now I'd be in heaven!

I'm afraid my wife will use this to make me think she's getting things done.
  • I used to fall a sleep in my grandmas laundrey-room. I remember the smell of softner and clean clothes drying. And the relaxing sound of her washingmachine. It gave me good chills, and i felt so safe. I put a blanket over me and had a pillow and my teddybear on the carpet. Lol

So relaxing and reassuring and when you look at the washer with its knobs and lid it seems to have a face...a goofy one but a face.

Our millions of years of evolution, all our human ingenuity, creativity, and technological sophistication; it has brought us here to this thirty-six minutes of glory.

I love this one! I like it more because it doesn't just have washing machine's sound but also the buttons/regulators sounds at the beginning. Thank you!

IKR? I used take naps by the washing machine all the time! I thought I was so weird...I have a front load now--just NOT the same--No sloshing water! Thank you for posting this!

I had one of those old machines years ago, and a detergent bottle with a rubber valve press thing, this is nostalgia
