The fact that even though Fir had this insanely overpowered mechanic, and still got a run slower than the world record, just goes to show how INSANE and optimized the world record strats are

This is the most insane movement possible in a Mario game. This is probably my favorite mod yet, even surpassing Multiplayer. Also love the callback to Smant's BOTW speedrunning video with the thumbnail

The extra movement capabilities with FLUDD in SMO are crazy! What blows my mind is that, even considering that Fir was messing around a good bit to show off the mod, the run time of 1hr 17m 20s wouldn't even place in the top 200 for any% or the top 40 for World Peace. Speedrunners have SMO so optimized that quite a few can beat a run with modded movement options casually run by another speedrunner. I really want to see Fir go for a serious FLUDD mod run to see how it stacks up against his actual speedrun leaderboard time.

Having both FLUDD and Cappy is an overpowered monstrosity. I hope there's a sequel to this mod in the future where the entire game is modified so that it's FLUDD-only and you can still 100% it. Also include the squirt nozzle if it isn't there.
