A good way to tell if a painting is fake is if the seller is willing to take $10k for a painting that would be worth millions.

Rick had to know before he read the letter. He wouldn’t have let chum take the painting out and handle it like the dope he is if it could be worth 10 million

Him taking the 10 grand was the clue because if it was a real piece why wouldn’t you take time in authenticating it for a 400,000 take home 💰
