Besides Dafoe, this might be my favorite version of Osborn. It’s ironically his most human and sympathetic traits (his love for his family) that will take him down the road to villainy

Insomniac has been giving us their own original stories with these games. Just when you think things are gonna end up a certain way, they surprise you. It's so good. There was a time I had concerns with multiple Spiderman stories at once. But stories like this prove it can be awesome, even if it's done a hundred times.

I love how when the symbiote bonds with Peter for the first time he's literally invincible because it's feeding off the intense emotions he's having. When I got to this part and noticed I took no damage I slowly walked to the last few while being fired at and destroyed them.

Symbiote Spiderman looks so cool! And he went instantly violent and unhinged too, that fight was epic.

Outside of the comics and some animated shows, this is the absolute best Symbiote Suit has ever looked! And it makes perfect sense this time how Peter gets the suit, it doesn’t just randomly choose him or any of the other far fetched reasons before this game. It’s because Peter is a much stronger and far more suitable host for the Symbiote.

21:30 This scene is when i could tell the amount of passion that went into this game. The ways mj and harry react to peters death is so sad and tragic. It pulls me in, and shows me that these are people, not just characters.

I just finished playing this game! I thought it was absolutely phenomenal and in all honesty I don't know how I will ever be able to go back and play the older games with how much of an improvement this game was in a lot of the technical aspects!

That shot at 37:06 looks SO good, looks like a frame from a movie.

I wonder if y'all ever seen Star Wars the Old Republic cinematic trailers, each of them are short, but awesome!

So that Hailey mission I believe is a side quest I honestly don’t remember playing her at all in the main story

What happened is the symbiote was only as strong as it’s host. The thing keeping it at bay was how weak Harry was and the constant need to heal him while being bonded. Without that limitation plus Pete’s own natural spider strength n powers, the symbiote immediately saw Peter as the best host. After bonding with spidey, it took that power somewhat for itself. Glad they got that right from the comics. The venom symbiote is more or less a psycho ex who’s obsessed n vengeful from rejection.

I love that this game takes the spider-verse into account

I genuinely love how this game seamlessly combines both the Symbiote Saga and Kraven's Last Hunt

I'm glad you guys are giving Game Cinematics a shot for reactions. I havent played the first spiderman game and frankly I just don't have the drive to play this one either. So to have you guys be watching it like a game movie is a great pleasure that should be more supported in this day and age. There are so many "game movies" that are compilations of their cutscenes that deserve to be watched and enjoyed. I am a gamer, but I have family who aren't so these movies are excellent means to fill them in on their solid story telling and narratives. I've had then watch things as simply as Mortal Kombat to as long and in depth as Red Dead Redemption, which frankly if you listen to it is a damn good audio book. Point is, no matter what some nay sayers think not everyone is a gamer but everyone is a story enjoyer. So thanks guys for making this a watch reaction, although I would recommend giving a different channel a shot to watch them on. I understand the criticism that even while you guys are watching these, their is some editing thats off. I would point you to Gamers Little Playground on Youtube which just does these game movies. Fair warning, their awful with thumbnail spoilers but their content is better edited. Either way, thanks Rejects for giving this a shot, and eager to see where the story goes alongside you.
