This is why the crocodile is the most feared reptile on earth. With over 2 fatal human attacks each day, this predator has been reclassified as the number one killer of humans in Africa, overtaking the hippo. Crocodile expert Brad Bestelink decides to do the unthinkable and dives in (literally) with crocodiles without a cage or any other protection to get a closer look at these dominant beasts.

  • In this documentary they talk about how brave this husband and wife are to dive around these crocodiles and that is 100% true that takes a lot of bravery for them. And they talk about how it’s a first. And that is 100% true. However the big question is, what about the cameraman that is filming them? I believe he’s a big part of the history making,. And that poor guy is risking his life and not even having his name mentioned
  • Saltwater and Nile Crocs are some of the few species of Animal on earth that will actively hunt humans. Crocodiles are both fascinating and terrifying

Far more effective would have been to place cameras on the crocodiles themselves and see what they do underwater, easier, more cost effective, 24/7, but of course, you wouldn't have the drama...

Wow, the best crocodile footage ever filmed probably, such immense tension, I loved that! 5/5
  • These two were clearly made for each other! What a couple. What a Career! 👍😎

Crocodiles are awesome and respect to Hippos for holding the #1 rank for A long time, but now it's the Crocodiles time to shine

Pretty crazy to swim with crocodiles and to go into a cave after a crocodile. Then they’re not trained cave divers either. There’s no line in that cave, they’re not wearing rebreathers, and many other mistakes that could’ve cost them their lives. This was amazing footage, but I hope next time they’ll be more careful. No crocodile footage is worth dying for.

Caves are dangerous enough without crocodiles
  • That first 7 foot Croc just wanted to be left alone. When you’re in the water and you can see what you’re filming in front of you,it’s relatively “safe”. But if you’ve got a huge Croc at 15 foot plus long, they’ll take you underwater pretty easily. They’ll be around long after we’re gone. Crocs and gators survived the dinosaurs, and they’re older than trees.
  • Crazy but very brave people exploring crocodiles in their own territory, especially at night.
  • Imagine swimming out of those caves knowing there are two monster crocs somewhere behind you
  • That is just so creepy the way the crocodiles head just slowly slips under the surface in slow motion. .

Best footage I ever watched , it’s 3 am , I love it, very instructive

When the one croc was poised waiting for a fledgling, I wonder why Brad didn’t just stay back. He was close enough and might’ve gotten awesome footage of it going for a bird. It seems he needlessly wanted to get closer and caused it to swim away.
  • 15:12~15:42 "If there is a good time to dive, which I don't think there is, this is it". Well that ^is^ reassuring 😄
  • Incredible footage into the unknown world of the crocodile. It was exciting to be able to learn about these fascinating creatures who live in the world of mystery. Thanks for sharing such incredible footage and information.

Amazing footage. Swimming with large crocodiles seems incredibly dangerous, but I suppose it comes down to what one is used to. I spent many years hiking and camping in Grizzly bear country which many people considered a dangerous activity, but done with appropriate caution is usually relatively safe. This video/documentary is awesome indeed.

31:30 The crocodile never even saw them. Didn't even have its mouth open. It just noticed them after it bumped into them and then took off.
  • It's great that Brad and his wife could able to dive in such places to get a closer look at crocodiles. It's amazing and it's also very risky. The moment they went deep in the crocodile cave, combining with the background music, it was like watching a horror movie. It's so dangerous.
  • I hope they paid you all very well to do this filming. This looked so terrifying, but awesome
