Hello, I've seen a lot of comments on here asking us to change the title of this video so I thought i'd address it. We chose the World Record story as the title as we felt that that story had the widest appeal to the general public and therefore more people would see Craig's important message about the impact of PTSD. I've spoken with Craig, he's completely happy with the title and the content of the video. He's also been touched by the support he has received in this comment section. We're going to be filming an update video with Craig in the coming months so watch this space. This Man is telling his life story, breaking down, in tears. And all the title says is how he broke a world record. Give this man some respect.
  • @Fitleticx
The title is so disrespectful, the guy poured his heart out for this video.
  • I was thinking “wow” this guy is the epitome of a man. He’s tough and rough and good at his job. Towards the end I was like. No- he’s a man now. Being able to talk about the lowest point in his life to millions of strangers. Thats a man.
  • As a disabled veteran and having my dog for 14 or his 15 years. I know exactly how he felt. Ive had many years of suicidal thoughts, My dog has pulled me out of the darkest hours I've ever been through. I owe my life to him.

Clean, long form interviews like this, with no hype, no narrative and no stupid music are the reason why TV is dying. This is excellent content.

Not a killing machine, but a real human with real emotions massive respect
  • Afghanistan combat vet here. Thanks for helping to dispel the myth of the quiet warrior 🗣

Ive lived 50 years with the effects of PTSD. No friends, no love, recoil from people and escape back to my loneliness at home. Its left me broke and empty. I hope you fair better than I have Craig.

Came for the sniper stories, stayed for this man’s incredible wisdom.

“20 years of service and it took half an hour to get kicked out.” i felt that one.

I never wanted to hug a man so hard in my entire life... Feels like he deserves it the most and he's asking for it...
  • My dad died of suicide, I’m so glad Craig didn’t do it! Such a brave and honest interview, you can see the thoughts running through his mind watching it al over again, cried the whole way through😢 I hope Craig is still doing well

It takes an incredible amount of courage to sit in front of a camera and open up so much, for the entire world to see. To talk about the horrors you've witnessed, the consequences of PTSD, even the embarrassing ones. I have nothing but respect for him. I truly wish him the best, and hope that he can learn to live with his demons in a healthy way.

This is one man who EARNED every day of the rest of his life. I wish him nothing but happiness, every day, for him and his wife!

He may not ever know that his opening up and being venerable is probably saving more lives than his job took. we apricate you sir.

My sheep actually saved my life. I was about to end it, and my sheep came up behind me, a big warm nose on my cheek. I just sobbed. Animals are the most amazing people.
  • @tommystrong
wow, that is a moving bit of film. You can feel every ounce of pain he's carrying.
  • @Dankustanku
Lots of respect for saying “he had passed away” not “I killed him”
