I started practicing every day and immediately I saw improvements: All the people in my life started avoiding me starting with my coworkers, then my friends, then my boss. He fired me. Then my spouse left me and took the kids. My parents stopped talking to me. Now, the crows bring ME peanuts.

I wonder if birds get as much amusement in hearing people speak bird as we do hearing birds speak human

i really want to be friends of a crow. Many people think they are freaky and the symbol of death but for me they are a symbol of intelligence and socialization

Imagine walking in a dark alley at night, a group of thugs appear, and you start making this noise only to have a 12-deep mob of crows appear looking down on you.

I might lose friends after starting this as my new hobby. (Update: I now only have crow calling friends & I’m totally ok with that).

This is the only video I've found so far that isn't for hunting, I just want a crow friend
  • I love crows! I've learned concepts of their social behavior by being around them. Every now and then I'd get a crow that I know is acknowledging my presence. One was calling me from a power line above and I called back to it. It started make clicking sounds that I couldn't mimick. I've learned that crows will allow you to get close to them when you slower your walking pace and look away from them. They also greet each other by perking their beak upward and turn their head. One morning I was walking to work and one tried to feed me a walnut.

Make sure to buy the unsalted peanuts. There was one crow we fed outside our door once and when we went inside and closed the door he knocked on it. Was so cute we gave him another handful

I have 6, they come when I call. I received my first gift, a rock. I enjoy these interesting birds so much. They caw back and come very fast. 💗

"you will annoy people around you..." + smile 😂 priceless!
  • @Sanjiluv
Man. I followed your steps lol and I made a really accurate crow sound suddenly. Shit was hilarious.

I just bought a crow call thing and didn’t even think that it was possible for a person (you) to sound so authentically like a crow!

At last... I've found a community that respects crows as much as I do. My grandchildren think I'm like Dr Dolittle ( or just nuts) because I talk to the crows. I also try to teach local blackbirds the 5-note "Close Encounters" tune... occasionally you hear something very very similar coming back from one of them. Thrilling!

I live in the country, feed the crows and they have brought me the coolest gifts. Shiny things like butter knives, toy Matchbox cars, smooth stones, empty cans 😄 also beads and craft items. They used to leave them out in “crow field” (the back of my yard where I leave their food) but sometimes they put them right outside my back and front door! They are my sweet pets. I just planted a wild birdseed garden for them 🌱 Thanks for this vid, I plan to learn to “talk” to them 🧡
  • I'm self taught and looks like we both use the same method. Corvids of any kind are wonderful creatures. I will be sure to start leaving peanuts out, good tip.

Your call is SUPER legit!! It sounds exactly like a crow <3
  • Just remember that people are going to think that you are crazy. but if you really like Crows and want to have interaction with them? it won't matter if they think you're crazy, because in all likelihood the Crows are smarter than they are.
