Kelis Rogers, you are truly an amazing woman. I always admired how you NEVER gave a fuck about anyone's opinion and just did what made YOU happy. That's a rarity. Now a days everyone wants to be loved and accepted or be deemed relevant by everyone, which clearly is impossible without compromising yourself. You stay true to who you are and I cant say that about many artists or people in general for that matter. Respect.

In a way, it was a little scary to hear her say: we don't eat to survive, we survive to eat. On reflection, I can't disagree with her, the food that we eat reflects our lives. She maybe 5 years older than me, but with beautiful incite like that, she can teach me how to cook anyday. :x
