What’s the scariest alley in the city? BamBOO! Alley! :_bdubsFace:

In the spirit of learning about bamboo, the sword is actually the correct tool to break bamboo. That's also probably why you're seeing extra durability loss on your axe. *Edit* As noted below, it's actually not causing extra damage to the axe, but it will cause 2 points of damage per break to a sword. The best solution is to just use a piston + slime blocks to insta-break them for free.

24:10 This is Bdubs doing 'bland'? Me, an aspiring builder: cries little square tears

Bdubs explains his Minecraft builds like an architect talks about their irl buildings and I love it.

now you just need to advertise your bamboo using that bone meal trick and you can be like "our bamboo" beside a stalk of leafy decorative bamboo next to "the competitors' bamboo" beside a stalk of leafless boring bamboo to show how well nurtured and hearty your bamboo is

I got so teary-eyed hearing how much deeper Ari’s voice is now as opposed to five years ago

Can someone stop this madman? This really is getting out of hand on how much his builds are beautiful!
  • @Bennie58able
Dear Bdubs If you wall 2 blocks thick, people can use blocks as graffiti instead of making custom wallpapers/paintings
  • @guh-uo6wo
the podzol under the roof of the brick building is absolute GENIUS
  • @SeaUnicorn
Everyone: pile of barrels as a starter shop, Bdubz: art piece
  • @jdunn2010
Definitely needs a bamboo boat dealership right there on the river behind the alley. Can anyone else see BDubs in a bamboo patterned suit selling like a used car dealer?

Ooh... funny fact about cyberpunk; the most common settings are visually based on Hong Kong and Tokyo - both very hilly places. London and LA are also common settings, although they're far more flat. Point being; even if you flatten the area, it's still good to keep a mountain in the background. Hong Kong used to be far more hilly, but as they flattened it out they dumped the material into the harbour to make reclaimed land. When I used to live in HK they had just finished most of these projects, and they used to joke that Hong Kong "pushed their mountains into the sea so they could build on both". Anyway point being; if the theme is Cyberpunk, don't feel too pressured to keep it flat.

"They will not be free. They will be very expensive" 😂😂😂 Also, way to throw down the gauntlet for other shops in the area.

You know that Bdubs knows how to build when he places the door 3 blocks above the ground. The awesome stair makes all the different from a ordinary house to a super cool house.

I think it's awesome that the last three letters of "Bamboo" are BdoubleO
  • @synniestar
that last shot of the video is so FREAKIN gorgeous. bdubs videos are scrumptious to the eyeballs always. i can't wait to see the cursed graffiti this server is gonna come up with.
  • @jcofortco
The Mosaic and Bamboo signs are clever, never thought to use them like that! ⭐ Thought: Get some Glow Ink from Joel & hit those signs, maybe skip a letter like the light bulb burned out, to boost the dystopian cyberpunk feel.

i’d love to see Bdubs have a nighttime arc, where he discovers his love for nighttime and its beautiful lighting. Bdubs then goes on a journey of mastering his nighttime lighting skills, and turning his builds into beautiful pieces of nocturnal art, he no longer is scared of the dark, and doesn’t need to carry a bed with him everywhere he goes. Bdubs has less stress in his life, is happier and we get to benefit from seeing his beautiful storytelling in a twilight sense instead of in the daytime >>>>
