Its not until I replayed this, that I realized how Sad Tommy's story is in this. The way he is so mad too.. Like Ellie... They both felt helpless to save Joel , even though they were both 6 feet away as he died.. But he's trying his best to keep on a brave face... and be there for Ellie, like Joel would have been. And he is also trying to do right by his brother... By not letting Ellie get consumed with revenge.. or killed. So he tries to keep her there and talk her out of it.. But He's also battling the demons he has for revenge... and ends up leaving on his own anyway... Its just so well written. The way they the actors play it... and the subtleties you notice on different playthroughs on their faces and actions.. Will always love these two games.

I guess because the parental figures always die in stories like this, I really was never sad about Joel dying, and I just knew he'd pay for that ending. Maybe I was just so prepared for it that when it happened, I was numb to it.

I loved Joel’s character, but to honest, he had it coming.

So glad you got to experience the “Take On Me” scene!!! It’s a missable portion of the game if you don’t thoroughly explore! Also fun fact: Ashley Johnson is such an incredible singer (truly) that she had to learn how to sing off key to make it seem more realistic in the world. She REALLY has a BEAUTIFUL voice!!!

I really hope Kaylee plays some happy games soon. For her own mental health lol. 😭

I was mad/sad at first too, but like you said, "joel killed alot of people"... one of life's lessons. What goes around comes around and Joel was no exception....

This game is brutal and is very trying on the emotions all I ask is that you stick with as best you can and let the story unfold from there. This game can be very divisive but to me it’s one of my favorite games ever. You’re doing great so far.

I've played Part 2 three times and every single time without fail Joels death gets me every time and each time it hurts more and more it doesn’t get easier any time i see that scene so once again absolutely cried my eyes out 😭 i can't wait to see your reaction to the rest of the game ofc and the gameplay i appreciate the work you put in into getting episodes out with the games you're currently playing two emotional rollercoaster game with incredible stories can't wait for the next episode 🫶
