Traveled the Shoshone lake trail via Petes Lake and Twin Lakes trail on a Suzuki Kingquad 400 near Lander Wyoming. Most excellent day for pics. I know where I will be camping for my next vacation.

    I've rode that trail a few times, but usually go up from lander and over Cyclone pass, and its usually good weather--untill we actually settle down and start fishing...Then it started to blizzard

    @Strutingeagle well, we just set up camp, me and my friend went across the dam and we were on the other side just messing around then it started to blizzard. We started heading back across, and it started to lightning and thunder...so when we got back, there was a nice big fire, and we just relaxed untill it quit and got sunny lol. It was a fun experience if i must say

    my god that is some beautiful country we have talked about a trip out west to ride we may need to stop talking and do it BDB.

    @ChaseTG Thanks for the comment. I like both ways in but if I am short time, it is faster through cyclone ridge. It would be awesome up there during a blizzard so long as everyone can stay warm and get out. What happened in your case?

    @BigDanBlocker It is nice to ride around here because there is so much BLM, State and Forest Service land.
