Homeless Pit Bull would LOVE to have a home for Christmas! ๐

I headed out to the rescue with Katie McKittrick and Idan Riek, and together, we secured the property that had many ways in and out.
One of the most important tools in our rescue toolbox is the soccer net that helps us enclose large areas, and in this case, Clara, in an attempt to escape from us, got herself entangled.
This sweet pocket Pit Bull was so scared... the look in her eyes was heartbreaking. I approached slowly, secured her, and assured her that everything will be AMAZING!
Her behavioral transformation is so beautiful. I hope you will watch it until the end and consider making a Christmas Donation for Clara (That's the name of the little girl from The Nutcracker). โค๏ธ

I am a vet tech/farm girl. I have been rescuing for 60+years. I rescued 2 dachshunds 11 years ago. A mother (DeeDee)13 years old and her daughter (Becky)11years old now. Becky was a diabetic and passed away on the 6th of December. Last Monday l rescued/adopted a 1&1/2 year old chihuahua/terrier mix named Trixie Jean. When you lose one it hurts. You can never replace them . But you can open your heart and home to save another one. I love the poem about death "The Rainbow Bridge. I love to think Becky is running, able to see(she was blind)and free from those awful skeeters ( insulin shots).๐

Clara wanted to be caught because she sensed Eldad was a good person. She was probably terrified of the street life. Clearly she was dumped as the breeder did not want her anymore. She deserves a loving home.โค Happy holidays.

Wow! She settled in fast! And she has all those toys. She was so cute as she arranged her toys all around her. And to see her tail up and wagging was a joy to behold. I hope she finds her forever home soon!!!

Scared of people....well, that's a "tell" and it totally breaks my heart. I am a regular donor and I love what you do โค, wish she could live with me.
