Eckhart Tolle delves into the challenge of presence in the face of the ego and the importance of transcending conditioned patterns to achieve spiritual wakefulness. He explains that the main challenge for most people is the inability to be present in the moment due to constant mental commentary and interpretation. Eckhart Tolle invites listeners to become aware of the present moment without any mental commentary, to experience the totality of sense perceptions, and to become aware of awareness itself. He emphasizes that the awakened state of consciousness, referred to as "Turiya" in Indian spiritual philosophy, is already present within each individual, just hidden by layers of conditioning.

“The beginning of freedom is the realization that you are not “the thinker.” The moment you start watching the thinker, a higher level of consciousness becomes activated. You then begin to realize that there is a vast realm of intelligence beyond thought, that thought is only a tiny aspect of that intelligence. You also realize that all the things that truly matter – beauty, love, creativity, joy, inner peace – arise from beyond the mind. You begin to awaken.” - Eckhart Tolle.

In another vid Eckhart says we can eliminate 95% of our misery just by realizing and accepting that past and future don't exist; all we actually have is now. When I decide to wipe up a spill, I try to appreciate that 95% of the floor is clean. And most things that CAN go wrong ... don't.🙏
  • By choosing what we focus on and what we believe , we can change our feelings and our actions for the better.

It’s so obvious, the way Eckhart explains it. So true. To the point that people laugh because it’s so ridiculous. We’re so conditioned to focus on the negative. It’s sad. But, good news, there’s a way out. ❤❤❤

A sage once said: when nothing is happening, then you are really making progress...

Very true words; that thing has captured and taken you over! That is exactly what has been achieved. Eckhart may refer to "that thing" as the ego, the false-self, or the pain body, but it's all the same and it is not our true-self. Our true-self is found in presence, stillness and silence, and that point of illumination is what lifts us out of the grasp of the false-self and into the stream of Christ Consciousness that unites us all, like Christ, with the Divine. This is the birthing of our true-self or what some refer to as being born-again. This level of enlightened transformation is the ultimate purpose of life. Much love and gratitude goes out to Eckhart for his generous service to Humanity's highest good. Namastè ✨💛🌿🕊✨

Yes, more you practice of higher consciousness. less thoughts arise, & become conscious of every single thought and in between no thoughts bring ☮️☸️🙏🏽 Appreciate the silence and silencing the mind! It paves for creative thoughts! 🙏🏽

The only thing our negative fearful and unhappy minds cannot handle is not having our attention at all. If push comes to shove they would rather surrender and support our peace and happiness than not have any attention from us at all. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Witness of the ego is who I am.ego is the imposter that has taken over.only by realising that ego is the imposter can you begin to awaken what was always there, but was covered up by the ego.i am the witness of ego -not the insane imposter ego.witnessing presence is freedom ❤

As stated by Eckhart, the awakened state of consciousness is not some fiction. I find that I could achieve it in several short durations during the day. Teachings here in India say that this is the beginning of a journey that may be long or short depending on many factors. Best wishes to anyone who reads this post.

I would like to add that Eckhart speaks of the difficulty of being present while the mind keeps rolling along, He speaks of listeners to become aware, while holding to the present moment practice presents , practice listening. Yes learn to be listening while being present. Listen right left and underneath , practice listening while being, its a new doorway for presents that has always been there but the brain has been overriding the listening process. Listening can bring a lot to surface when you are hearing many things at one moment. I now practice listening and have found much more to presence. My name is Tom Kelly and I follow Echkart closely.
