Note: At 9:40 we say that Steam Link is not able to do desktop sharing or 4K streaming, but these features were actually added in a recent update.
  • Consistently showing the marks on Linus's face where the Vision Pro sits was an important and appreciated decision. Thank you.
  • @tristanwegner
the color calibration chart comparison was so useful, yet you are the first I have seen do it.

Between iJustine's "i love it, i love it, i love it" and many others that only hated on it, it is awesome to see that Linus really gave it a chance and actually tried everything on it, and shared with us all the REAL experience of using this device, even if it was a bad experience and a bad price, he still appreciates the engineering that went into this. Feels like a very professional and fair review, which is rare on YouTube for Apple stuff. Thank you.
  • I appreciate the production theatrics. Didn’t have to demonstrate it like that, but it certainly helps.

I really liked the real life analogues the team had for this one. AR/VR is almost impossible to show off too or explain issues to people watching on a monitor. Having people moving physical monitors around conveyed the ideas brilliantly.

Just wanted to say props to the Editors on this one. Clean presentation, create cuts, great script, and Great sets!

The face marks at the 5:20 mark really shows how much uneven pressure there is on the cheekbone and my god that looks bad.

You gotta love the bright red marks around Linus face when he takes the thing off. You can see an almost perfect outline of the thing. Imagine wearing it for several hours.

I was gonna comment 'fix the WiFi!', but then I realized that less-than-ideal WiFi is better for that area. Showing more real-world access is actually a plus.
  • @webluke
I like how every clip without the VR headset on he had red marks from the pressure it puts on his face because it isn't supported well. I have noticed now that it's been out for a few weeks no one is talking about it, as Linus said there's nothing to do it.

The part at 21:35 felt very wholesome and genuine, it's a nice switch up in the video. Great idea to have everyone sit down and give off this almost family kind of vibe!

What's so nice about this channel, is that it actually cares about the viewer's experience when it comes to sponsorship plugs. Many YouTube content creators have their production costs supplimented by living at home with mom and dad. They have no need for the sponsorship, yet they slam an ad right in the middle of their content. They seem oblivious to the fact that I PAY for a YouTube premium subscription in order to avoid ads. Linus, on the other hand, clearly needs the ad revenue to keep the quality as high as it is. He also segways into the ad in ways that make it far less intrusive. So bravo to Linus for striking an acceptable ballance.

First time I'm commenting one of your video! As everyone else has said already, this is a brilliant review, and a brilliantly produced video. I loved every single bit of it. The work that was put in the transitions and the physical illustrations (the 3 displays with the mask and the one-shot setup of a living room with people coming in as you review the product) were exceptional, funny and added so much value! The review itself is on point too. No easy trash-talking, just lots of facts put in context and said with lots of subtlety and appreciation. Well done folks 👏

This was an excellent review. Shout out to the writers on this one. The last scene with everyone together on the couch summed everything up perfectly.

Using the $3400 headset to view your $1500-$1800 laptop screen is definitely the future we're all hoping for lol.
