    IRL, anti-tank mines aren't designed to trigger for personnel. If that carries over to HD2 these might actually be amazing. They should let the little guys and players by fine but blow up chargers. Those plus a gatling sentry would be amazing for shutting down an avenue of approach.

    I was expecting the anti-tank mines to not trigger when walked over by a helldiver. I was a bit disappointed, and a bit surprised given the devs background, that is not the case.

    No one is going to pick the mines because mines are garbage. The devs should have expected this, they made mines garbage Mines should have 4x more area covered and a ship upgrade "smart mines" that prevents mines from exploding when a teammate steps on it

    I personally want mines for shenanigans, but yeah rocket it'll be. I used to watch leaked content early on, but most HD2 content creators spam out videos with little substance to them and stopped watching. I enjoy the effort put into your videos and appreciate not showing the leaks. Hopefully we dont wait long on the mines.

    Okay, so here's the plan Helldivers, from now on, no unsantioned sleep, by managed democracy, we shall liberate both planets. It took us 5 hours to liberate the Creek, and by General Brasch we shall liberate both planets.
  • The only time I've ever asked a teammate to use something different is when Tesla's were crashing games, still didn't kick people though only asked them to change.

    I suspect we'll be getting the other stratagem after a time. At least, I hope so. I highly doubt the anti-tank mine is going to win, but I would hate for a neat option like that to disappear. To put all that work into a stratagem to only be used for a week or something.

    One of these lets me run an Autocannon or AMR, and one of these doesn't; that's how I feel about it. I hope the next time they do this, we get like-colored stratagems for the choices (e.g. choose one of two blue stratagems) or same category stratagems (e.g. choose one of two orbital strikes); it'd be interesting to see whether or not that makes the split more competitive, and if so to what degree. I do like the idea you had of "we get Stratagem A but then we get a new enemy that Stratagem B would've been good against" since that makes the unchosen option more appealing for the future.
