When the Indian guy asked if he had ever been arrested or convicted of a crime I would have said yes I murdered an Indian telemarketer who is trying to scam me out of money

The IRS NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER starts with a phone call. They start with an official letter via USPS.

I love these calls, so amusing! I got told on one call that they had to assign me a new Social Security number because they noticed fraudulent activity under my current number, however it cost $5,000 to get the new SSN and if I don’t get the new number then I will be found guilty of the fraudulent activity... they thought they had the money in the bag because I went along with it for a good hour and a half and then let them know I knew they were full of shit, they got sooo mad!!! Hilarious

I got a few during lockdown and I kept talking about my problems and saying how nice it was to have a phone call as I am 73 and self isolating. He said sorry about to hear that (what I was telling him) and kept on. I said after half an hour that I needed to make a cup of tea and will call them back. No more calls from them.
