4:47 basically the Meebs are sent to the Mirror Islands, and then they "absorb" the Ethereal energy from the ambient, since the Mirror Island are basically alternative versions of the Natural Islands but they were affected by the elements of the 1 element Ethereals from each of them, so, for example, Ghazt being the 1 element Ethereal from Plant Island, the Mirror version is filled with the orbs that surrounds Ghazt And btw, the Ethereal elements are called Plasma, Shadow, Mech, Crystal and Poison

so basically the reason why you need to use the mirror islands is because you can make duplicate meebs with different elements depending on the ethereal on the island, and the element of the ethereal is connected to the island. the meebs are basically baby versions of the ethereal of the island. mirrors can duplicate things but not really. my singing monsters technology is insane about how they are able to make mirrors duplicate items or people.

4:50 to answer your question we aren't breeding meebs we're reattuning them to the energy mirror islands. Plant has the Plasma element, Cold has the shadow element, air has mech, water has crystal, and earth has poison.

The ethereals on every island have a different element. For example plant island’s ethereal is ghazt and its elements is the gup and that is why they use those specific mirror islands

Fun fact:ethereal workshop is actually the part 2 of ethereal island like you know the ethereal island monsters are 1 and 2 elements and ethereal workshop 3,4 and probably 5 elements so it makes sense.

The reason why the meeb get their element from the mirror islands is because it the mirror islands represent their ethereal counterpart Example: ghazt the element of it is plasma/goo there is goos scattered all over mirror plant island and meebs collect a little bit of goo to turn into the plasma form
