    I found a Minecraft mod not too long ago that might pique your interest, it’s called legacy4j and makes modern Minecraft feel like it was developed by 4j studios (the creators of old console versions) when it comes to ui and controls. The mod also has an official mod pack as well that has some other mods to change the gameplay at self to almost completely bring back those old versions on modern Minecraft
