Song Writers: Full Episode 1

Bill Anderson will never die! He's the rock of country music and has been for decades!

I write songs, and they seem to come to me within the same day. At times, I sit down, and a song comes to my mind along with the tune. I do not want to be a singer or star, but I love to sing. I am 80 years old, and I have heard many a country singer. There was Hank Snow, Ferlin Husky and my favorite Johnny Horton. There have been many great singers. Even whispering Bill Andersons " Still" was one of my favorites. My daddy played and was in a contest with Little Jimmy Dickens in Indianapolis. Many, many years ago.

This is a show of inspiration. "TRUE COUNTRY".

Love the reunion shows . They are all good but Whitey Shafer really stands out as a singer!

I'm a song writer, I have lots of songs & I'm a Pedal Steel Guitar player. I have my first song published & it is on an album. I've been told by many people that my songs are great. But all roads to somewhere, are blocked to good talent, by those in charge. We don't want no new songs, they say. Well the New Country Songs aren't worth listening to. Hip Hop, Horseshit & Rap, won't last long, but neither will I. I'm glad you folks made it or we the people wouldn't have had good country to listen to....

I love how everyone sings along with the music. These songs are part of this country's fabric. Good stuff yall.
