By far the best catches in MLB History, let me know if I missed one and I am sorry if I did.

who here doesn’t play baseball but still finds these entertaining...
  • When I was nine, playing left field in Little league a guy hit one deep I was running for it, overran it by a little and caught it behind my back, the crowd, small crowd, went crazy...one of the best moments of my life...I'm sixty...I still remember it like it was yesterday. Every kid should play little league baseball.

Ben Revere at 5:40 my favorite. Full speed into the wall. If he let's up, the ball clears him. If he doesn't brace for impact he gets concussed. He somehow leaps into the wall to soften the impact while locating and catching the ball directly over his head. Then he comes off the wall in perfect balance. Maybe the greatest combo of feel, athleticism and baseball skill I've ever seen in one catch.
  • Eric Byrnes catch at 1:46 or so is underrated. He ran as fast as he could and fully extended to make that grab. Insane.

The Jim Edmonds catch at the start is still the greatest catch I have ever seen. I would like to add that the Otis Nixon catch in 1992 over the fence to preserve the Atlanta Braves win streak when they had 1 hit (a solo home run from David Justice) should be listed among the greatest catches as well, not only for the catch but also for the atmosphere.

Otis Nixon digging cleats into the padding to get over the wall to rob a home run in the 1991 playoffs. The timing, it was over the wall, playoff game made it clutch and spectacular.

This is probably the best compilation of amazing catches I've seen yet.

Glad to see you included the classic Willie Mays over the shoulder catch. Another great catch that was not included was Bo Jackson’s wall walk catch. One worth checking out!
  • Kirby Puckett’s game saving World Series catch was a great one, too
  • The Dewayne Wise catch (7:28) is amazing in that it preserves a perfect game (Mark Buehrle) in the 9th inning.
  • The one thing I learned from this video is that the Toronto Bluejays can jump.

Edmonds should be in Hall of Fame for his defensive skills in Center Field. He was unbelievable.
  • Jim Edmonds was a beast and had a career of making amazing catches in centerfield. Dude was a vacuum out there and really gave himself up. Bunch of awesome catches for sure. Those ones that saved no hitters make them really great. Got a new subscriber. Was fun to watch. Great video

3:18 Tori Hunter robbing Barry Bonds of a home run was the best part of this video.

Great catches for sure. Glad to see the Willie Mays play in here.
