peplers.blogspot.com/ A very quick way of making a simple bench from some logs. You can adjust the height of the bench by using different size logs for the 'feet' - this one is generally intended for children, so is quite low. I'm using a Husqvarna 346xp chainsaw in the video. If you want to make one that's very neat and precise, you might want to take longer than 5 minutes - it depends what the final use is!

Perfect video. Did mine this afternoon following your advice and now it is sitting next to our fire pit. Must be 200 kg of solid ash!

Nice and simple. Of course I know that with your chainsaw skills a high back chair in the shape of a beaver would be a more appropriate challenge ;0)
  • Really enjoy your chainsaw videos.  Can you do an educational video going through all the PPE that you wear like the trousers and the make of boots etc?

Thank you. Just cut down a tree next to the fire pit. Going out now to make bench.

Do you use a ripping chain or a crosscut chain??? Nice work!

I think it would be better used as a road block than a bench
  • My 8th grade geometry teacher told me that logs are conical shape and not "V" shape. Was he right?
  • What model husqvarna saw is that?! I like the size for that kind of work
  • Nice, now I can make a bench for snowflake to sit on while the rest of us fell trees, so he doesn't melt.

lol , may as well just sit on the log and not bother cutting it in the first place fr all the difference it made
