Ive been in the game since 1965 and both parents were broker/ agent. I will house animals but never again humans! With covid owners could not ask people to leave or pay rent. Too bad taxes and mortgages were not forgiven....in California now the law favors tenants not owners.

Past landlord, who wanted to make money instead of lose it. I had plenty of sabotage from misinformed locals as well as entitled jerks who enjoy cyberstalking and harming women they isolate and dog forever. What kind of cameras did you use? I had a lot of trespassing problems and I was so remote I had to try to hide game cameras. I hung one above the entrance of the house, which was stolen along with about 8 others along and within the acreage. When it was good to sell, some tried to force me to sell lower than market, not based on the market, but on their stalking of me.

Future land investor. However, what stuck me as odd about this episode is that you did not mention the possibility of liability claims from the squatters. People have been known to illegally use other people's property, sustain injuries, and successfully sue the property owners. Be careful.
