I suspected the theme of this video would be terrible 80's albums by good 70's bands lol
  • @gwyld
For me, when someone mentions a stinker by a great band, Metallica's St. Anger always comes to mind. I tried to like it, and never could.

"Then they release this piece of crap..." {dog barks loudly in agreement} ROTFL
  • @Gabesafish
Hold on...you mean Kiss has good albums too??
  • @argelbargel7680
Milli Vanilli's second album was something of a disappointment after their masterful debut.

Disagree on Rush. "Hold Your Fire" stands up well to the test of time.

Hey! "Time Stand Still" is a great track! And Amy Mann is guest vocalist!
  • What about albums you begrudgingly admit are great from bands you hate?
  • @egghuntpbs
Man, I couldn’t disagree more about Hold Your Fire. Not only does it not sound dated, to me, it’s gotten better with time.

I really like Never Say Die by Sabbath....
  • For me Hold Your Fire is a sensational album, so many melodic tunes on there that I can listen to over and over.

From the band owner of my heart, Metallica: Load, Reload and St. Anger.
  • Rush is my favorite band, and I love Hold Your Fire. I think it is far better than some of their 90s work.

The Final Cut sounds better when you accept that it's the first solo album from Roger Waters.

When Kerry Livgren left Kansas, Kansas as we knew and loved was over. He was the mastermind, song-writer and musical genius of the band

I remember hating Rush "Signals" when it came out. I gave it another chance years later and I now love it.

What are your opinions on Foreigner's "Agent Provocateur" and "Inside Information" albums? Me I thought they were mediocre albums compared to their first 4 albums although their two singles "I Want To Know What Love Is" and "Say You Will" were on par with their best singles.

I never did like Diver Down either. Maybe a couple songs.
