The quietest KitchenAid® Dishwasher provides quiet cleaning without compromising performance, so there's no need to wait to run a wash cycle. A third level utensil rack holds silverware, serving utensils and spatulas, and an adjustable middle rack adds flexibility to fit tall items. Choose Stainless Steel or Black Stainless Steel, both with PRINTSHIELD Finish that resists smudges and fingerprints.

Features

39 dBA provides the quietest cleaning available from KitchenAid® Dishwashers, so there's no need to wait to run a wash cycle while entertaining and enjoying meals, even in open concept kitchens
PROWASHtrade; Cycle uses sensors to measure soil levels throughout the cycle and adapts wash time and water temperature as needed for tough messes or lighter loads, because no two meals or the dishes that result are exactly the same
PrintShield™ Finish resists smudges and fingerprints. The specialized coating for stainless steel is easy to clean with just water and a soft cloth, so you can spend more time cooking and less time cleaning up the kitchen
Heat Dry Option heats both the final rinse water and the air inside the dishwasher to help dishes come out dry and ready for your next creation
Third Level Utensil Rack provides additional space for long and flat items like silverware, serving utensils and spatulas
Extended Heat Dry Option increases the cycle time for excellent drying performance
Durable Stainless Steel Interior offers the beauty and benefits of stainless steel inside the dishwasher. It resists streaks, stains and odors, while retaining heat to help improve drying
SatinGlide® Rails in Third and Middle Racks move smoothly for easy loading and unloading
Express Wash Cycle cleans in less time, so you always have the dishes you need while prepping, cooking and entertaining
Adjustable Middle Rack adds flexibility to fit tall items like a stand mixer bowl. Lower the rack to place large dishes inside or raise it to make room for platters, pitchers, blender jars and more in the rack below.

I wish every repair video was like this, where someone could clearly and concisely communicate the part’s purpose and the why of each step. Bravo!!

Thank you so much for mentioning the garbage disposal replacement possibility…you solved our problem with that!!
  • Thank you so much. A friend installed a new disposal for me. I had watched another video, but your mentioning the disposal just saved me a ton of time!!!
  • @awareness4
Awesome vid. Same issue saved me lots of money, time, and grief. People like you are a great addition to the world. Thanks!!!
  • THANK YOU SO MUCH! Our kitchen aide dishwasher wasn’t draining, my husband wanted to call a repair man and I said let’s check YouTube. We found your video and ITS FIXED. It was a piece of plastic stuck in the pump. Really appreciate your video

It was the disposal knockout. So glad you mentioned it, or I never would have thought that was the issue! Thank you sir!
  • This illustration was perfect to guide me through the steps in solving my drainage problem. It was exactly the same scenario - a piece of glass stuck in the impellor of the pump. Perfect!!! Thank you.

Thank you for mentioning the garbage disposal, you saved me one heck of a headache!
  • You’ve made one of the best produced, most explanatory and helpful videos on about any topic I’ve seen. Seriously!

Could not have fixed our dishwasher without this video. Thank you for making it easy to follow!

Thank you! Pump spinner thing case off like u showed and there was a small piece of wine glass stuck from months ago. Taking out the washer and tipping it over took the longest. Great job going slow and showing / explaining each step.

My husband and I have NEVER, I mean, EVER fixed anything ourselves, but the moment we watched your vid we suspected that glass might be the culprit, as I am a notorious glass breaker. IT WORKED. It took us about 1.5 hours, but WE DID IT...so proud and grateful for you and your step by step instructions!
  • Thanks a million! My son-in-law and I installed a new garbage disposal and the next thing I know, my dishwasher wouldn’t drain! Instead of calling a plumber, I watched your video, and sure enough we hadn’t popped out the “stopper” allowing the washer fluids to drain into the disposer! You saved me lots of 💰💰💰.

I change my garbage disposal last week and had no idea that it had a knock out inside the garbage disposal. Now my dishwasher is working awesome again. Thank you.
  • @ehabteima
You're a genius. My dishwasher stopped out of no where. This was the first video and man. Just spot on. I had the exact same problem and fixed it as described here. Phew.
  • My husband looked at a few videos before this and was lost. This video was perfect and explained everything precisely. You mentioned yours had glass,.. sure enough ours had glass also. Thanks for the detailed video and explanation. You saved us a lot of money.
  • @mkmur55
Who ever you are THANK YOU. I was able to fix my drain problem and save a boatload of money. I've avoided having to have a repairman. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!

This video provides a systematic view of resolving the diswaher non-draining issue. In my case, when I installed the garbage disposal, I didn't remove the knock-out plate, so the dishwasher doesn't drain. Just by removing the knock-out plate, my problem was no more. Thank you so much!
  • Nailed it! piece of plastic stuck in the drainage pump! Thanks so much for the great video. This video was beyond helpful, I got my dishwasher fixed right after I watched this(twice)

Thank you for posting this - 1 day before home inspection to sell and the error code showed up. Found broken glass from a wine glass stem that made it through the filter and was blocking the pump from spinning. Fixed and running in about 1 hour.
