When Kaylon started her white fragility I laughed because I have seen these theatrics before, it’s giving narcissist energy. I would have ignored her and let her leave instead of catering to her privilege.

That white lady crying at brunch made me mad. Is she joking? She can't be serious.

That couldn’t be me at the brunch, because the moment I saw Kaylon crying I would have lost it. If it doesn’t apply, let it fly. Her getting up my her guilt speaking; the fact that she considered their experiences as attacking white people says a lot. Marie was not having it 😂😂 I will say the situation escalated for no reason.

I can not explain the anger in my soul with this brunch. Kaylon needs to go. Why would Antoinette even invite her?? Kaylon did everything NOT to do in a room full of black women when you're an outlier. The levels of textbook BS she exhibited are disgusting. Black spaces need to be black spaces, especially given how black people are and have been excluded from places that profoundly affect how we experience life. The fact that the brunch turned into a triage to wipe Kaylon's tears is utterly ridiculous. She shouldn't have been there to begin with ... Period. This was about black women's empowerment - Kaylon has no role in that. And if she decided to be there, don't personalize the discussion, be quiet, and learn. That's exactly what I do whenever I'm in the space of an oppressed group as a person with privilege.

The dentist lady needs to understand that racism and colorism are two completely different VALID conversations; and she need not confuse the two.

I’m disgusted that Kaitlin made the brunch about her and her emotions. And the audacity to bring up your grandfather when talking about how white people don’t dislike us as if he did own slaves and lead the confederate states.

I think Latishia should stop inviting Marie to her brunches cause she is the cause of every argument

It was important for Kaylon to be there but the reality is she can’t comprehend what it is they are saying bc it’s not her experience. Secondly she doesn’t want to acknowledge that her/her family could have/or is contributing to the hardships the ladies spoke of.
