    Fun fact in the movie Dally’s last word before he died was “Pony” because as his life flashed before his eyes Dally realized that he loved ponyboy just as much as he loved Johnny and that as he had somewhat little conscience he wanted to live because of that.

    when i watched the outsiders movie in school, my eyes teared up at johnny’s death. but, what completely broke me was dal’s death. i literally slammed my desk in tears. it was such a heartbreaking movie, and novel. it broke my damn heart more than anything ever did, and i’m someone who can barely cry too. johnny’s death in the novel broke me too. i felt all of pony’s pain throughout both the movie and novel. it was too good, man.

    i am new and mean no harm but why is dally blond in the book and movie he has brown hair? just asking for understanding
