As a black woman, I want equality of opportunity. Equality of outcome makes me feel like I didn't earn anything. Getting a scholarship for being black doesn't hit like getting a scholarship for being intelligent.

It doesn't matter if a field is 80% male or 80% female as long as the most qualified person gets the job. When we start trying to make everything 50/50 qualified people get turned away for the sake of equality.

I feel bad for Jordan, it’s like he’s standing in front of a forest and saying “look at the trees” and everyone else is like “ there are no trees, everything is a bush “

I'm a finnish woman and get the subjects of this video. I got into a engineering program in university, almost got my bachelor's degree, but dropped out. I got into a university program in health care. I made the decision to earn significantly less money in a woman-dominated field instead of working as an engineer. There was not enough money in the world to make me do something i don't enjoy for my job. I think it's okay that some fields have more women and others men.

I think throughout all of this, we as a human race, have neglected to mention how strong Jordan Peterson's hair and beard game is

"There's nothing stupider than a smart person who went wrong" Yes.

Jordan Peterson talking about the reasons men and women are different has to be one of the most interesting clips on here.

Joe is simply the best interviewer out there. He listens, absorbs, and asks intelligent questions without any agenda whatsoever.

I can't believe there are actually people exist who thinks forced equality of outcome is a good idea. Some of those people are actually quite intelligent. It's like what is going on in their head?
  • @69butternut.
I can't believe I live in a world where these facts are even debatable.

I'm a psychologist and this 24 minute talk is one of the best psychology classes I've ever "attended". There are so many complex and intricate concepts just laid out in a very simple way. JBP is a beast...

I’ve heard him give the exact same speech on gender like 100 times and it never gets old, he absolutely destroys everything 3rd wave feminists complain about

Equality of outcome: When your Uber driver is a registered blind person...
  • Joe needs to teach seminars on active listening. Because he is a PRO. How he sits there, silently engaged for so long is baffling to me.
  • I think the reason he's become well known is that he's a spokesperson for people who still have their common sense intact and is actually backed by Science, against people who are just out there crying because their feelings got hurt (and they are loud).
  • @katrinabee9846
He's such an interesting man. Middle-aged lesbian here, I really respect this guy - he's helped me immensely.

"It's very rare that someone is elitist in terms of their cognitive ability" Oh Joe, let me tell you about the Chess community...

Being from Sweden, a lot of things Jordan says is true, for some reason we have an obsession with equality, there has to be 50/50 men and women in every job, and I never understood why. Surely it's a better idea to just let men and women become whatever they desire, and if it turns out that on average, women aren't as interested to become electrical engineers as men then that's the way it is, there's no reason to force that specific field to hire more women to level it out. And we are different, both physically and mentally. So different choices in professions is to be expected. Women tend to seek nursing-related jobs more than men, and men tend to be more interested in objects (technology, vehicles etc).

"There's nothing dumber than an intelligent person who has gone wrong", "the opposite of the truth is the worst kind of wrong". Peterson is an unintentional comedic genius!

As a masculine female who has always preferred “things”, this actually makes me feel far better than the leftist crowd ever did. They say I should actually be a man; Jordan says I’m fine and normal the way I am. I appreciate that.
