  • This is the most balanced ive seen you eat and im proud of you im also happy you took notice of your caffiene intake and how it impacts your hormones. I drink so much coffee but it doesnt help our stress response along by any means. Im looking to switch almost completely to matcha and do moderation

Yay, another Reese video!! 😃 And I'm now inspired to make my own overnight oats now for tomorrow
  • I was thinking, ‘wow this is a late upload from Reese at 11pm’ and then remembered you’re not from the UK so it’s actually 5 hours earlier than it is for me where you are lmao

I love that you posted this here! I don't have tiktok and don't want it. Youtube is a big enough rabbit hole I can't imagine adding another video platform to my day :O Do you have a source for where you learned about eating for your cycle phase? I haven't ever really heard of it but I know I personally crave different things through the month. I try to see what type of junk I am craving and what healthier option could fix it instead of having the junk. Example, when I crave potato chips, I've learned that 99% of the time making myself some air fried french fries with a little bit of salt on them kills the craving better than bags and bags of chips ever could, I have decided that must mean my body is craving the extra salt and the nutrients that are in a potato (and that are mostly cooked out when they're in chip format). When I am craving something sweet like candy, fruit usually hits the spot, or a fruity tea cold brewed with a speck of stevia, candy clearly has zero nutrients while a tea has antioxidants and other health benefits including hydrating! I guess this is more along the lines of intuitive eating... I def use protein powder to get the sweet fix too and I don't feel so bad about that because protein isn't the easiest to get. I do eat eggs, I don't recall if you're fully vegan or if you do some animal products like eggs, but having eggs definitely helps me with the protein cravings too. I think if more people thought about the actual vitamins/minerals that they could be craving and how their body may signal it as a sweet or salt etc and then chose to do something with real ingredients first that they would be pleasantly surprised by how much less they snack on genuine junk foods, esp soda and juice!

What is the chart that you follow to know what phase youre in?
  • A question and a tip - I always see all this stuff about pressing tofu to get liquid out. You didn't press. Do you not press? Do you press off camera? Is it a myth? The tip is - those strawberries are not in season - if you're just buying them to put in smoothies you're better off buying frozen organic ones bc those are picked when they're in season. I know yours are out of season bc the insides are white. They're in season when the insides are bright red.
