I almost forgot these girls existed some time in my college and this song was a bop for me like until now,like hearing it again after years!

The tragic irony with Girl Thing is that a number eight chart debut is actually a really solid basis from which a girl band can build a career – The Saturdays' debut single went in at number eight, Sugababes' peaked at number six, and Atomic Kitten's first single only made number ten. The mistake was that their promotional campaign was just too much too soon, and while that might have worked in, say, America or some Asian nations, we cynical Brits just saw it all and went: "wouldnt it be hilarious if this group flopped lol"

The actual production of the song (if you know anything about mixing music) is absolutely TOP notch.. its actually a perfect, flawless, studio track.

I thought this song was just some weird fever dream I had, then I found it!

Found this song yesterday after more than a double decade of searching...it was hard to find when the only line you know is 'we're the last one standing'😂 (9th dec'23)
