Those cut 4 gloves are not puncture proof. They may be resistant, but you can still get a sliver if you're not careful.

I purchased the ISOtune Aware and so far am not impressed. When going into the noise-canceling mode it makes an annoying popping sound. This sound can be continuous depending on what you're doing, for example, hammering or shooting a nailgun. Another failure is that the noise-canceling mode kicks in around 85 db's. I have 3 different types of shop vacs and neither of the three activates the noise-canceling mode. Full disclosure I wear in-ear hearing aids. Without the hearing aids out the popping is less noticeable but still annoying. If I had to do it again I would purchase just the version with Bluetooth only.
