different states different laws. In New York, the clock can stop on the statute of limitations when a potential defendant is continuously outside the state. Whoops! If your going to be a criminal know the laws. The allegation is he broke Federal law, State election law and tax laws. That is why it is a felony charge and not a misdemeanor.
