In this video I discuss what I believe to be the biggest mistake you can make if you're in the market for a new Ford Bronco. I'll also give ya some practical tips on what you can do to avoid overpaying for your Bronco. If you're looking for some great footage of the new Ford Bronco, this is it!

If you're planning on buying a Bronco the best bet is to wait for order banks to open back up and get your order in for msrp. Get in contact with a SOLID dealer near you from the list below.

***get a signed purchase order for your agreed upon price when you place your order**

If you can't wait that long… search the classifieds like crazy but remember to be patient. DO NOT pay $10k over msrp.

Happy wheelin.

  • I retired from Ford Motor Co. while I’m happy to finally see the Bronco reintroduced, this whole program has become a fiasco. Build problems, supplier problems, the damned dealer vultures with their ADMs have just spoiled the product. I agree, if you really want one just wait a year or so for this mess to settle down.
  • That quote was worth a sub. The video was awesome! Love the B-Roll! Thank you!

I have to report that here in Las Vegas, ALL the Ford dealers are marking up insanely on these vehicles. Found 2 Used Ford Raptors (170 mi and 89 miles) and they both had $15K over MSRP. The brand new Raptor had $25K over MSRP. I put an order in for mine. I'm completely fine with waiting. I have a Genesis GV80 that I plan on trading in when the Bronco arrives. Not only is the ADMs absolutely stupid, the interest rates are insane. I got my Genesis for 3.5% and my husband got his TRX for 2.49%, and this was last April (April 2022). So yeah, patience is definitely key when it comes to buying anything new right now.

My wife and I bought a new Bronco recently! Before hand we couldn’t find one we both liked. So I ended up ordering a Sasquatch , v6 , hardtop , hot chili pepper red , leather! No idea when it would be built …dealership said probably not till 2024.. 3 weeks later we found something we both liked but didn’t have leather (no biggy…I can change that) 4 weeks later my dealer called and said a vin was produced for the Bronco i ordered! Crap….I really want the Sasquatch option ….guess we might have 2 Broncos 😅

You definitely made some great points here. I've had my bronco for a year now and it's worth more than I paid for it currently. The market is insane right now and I can't believe the mark ups. Don't pay any extra than what's fair. If you can wait to buy, than try to do so. Great video!
  • Hey, that’s the Natchez trace bridge! You just drove past my house. Was going to look at one in Franklin but will keep my f150.
  • Great video and loved the points mentioned but i believe if it's ordered as MSRP and no Mark-up it worth to buy it, this car won't lose its value in the next 5-years, exactly like ford f150 raptor or jeeps, most of these type of vehicles are strong to keep their value long term in compare to other cars. Based on experience in selling cars and working with dealers.

Paid MSRP February 2023, Outer Banks 4cyl with dual roof option and Sasquatch that just showed up at the dealership it’s got plenty of power for us. 😃
  • I finally got my big bend at sticker. Took me 2 years to find a stand up dealer who had one on the lot.

Thank you for the excellent review. The side profile of the bronco reminds me of a mini cooper on steroids.
  • @JeffDeWitt
The dealer I'm working with is selling new ones on the lot with a $7500 "Market value adjustment", but if you order one, like I'm likely going to do, they sell it for list. And yes, I've met the sales guy and am waiting for the call. I'll be ordering a red Base 2 door with a stick.

I reserved my 2021 in summer of 2020 (2 door Base manual) for MSRP of $28,500. Was told Spring of 2021 then Summer then Fall then "sometime in 2022" so got upgraded to a 2022 at no extra charge. Got my 2022 last March waited over a year and a half and still paid only $28,500 (plus just a few extras roof rails modular front bumper aux switches and block heater). Almost cancelled twice but decided to be patient and I'm so glad I didn't cancel. WELL worth the wait!
  • @SpaceTech54
Manassas Ford sold me a 2022 Outer Banks at MSRP - it was a Dealer-Order (leather option only). Great Deal.
  • @Doc1855
Our dollar is getting ready to tank.

Anymore, I highly recommend you do as much research on the dealerships as you do on the vehicle you potentially want. Don't get screwed by falling in love with a vehicle and try buying it from your local dealership only to find out there is hidden "extras" or dealership mark-ups.
  • Fact of the matter is that any new vehicle is hard to buy with out insane mark ups. I purchased a Hyundai Santa Cruz factory ordered and had to negotiate like fiend to avoid excessive mark ups etc. It's the same for any vehicle.. unfortunately if the vehicle is off the lot, there is nearly no way to avoid some amount of mark up due to dealer installed bs that can't be negotiated off. they get you in the finance office making consumers over pay for basically everything. The best advice I'd say is factory order if you can, get a signed purchase order like buddy in the video explained and be patient! 90% of accessories can be purchased else where for a fraction of the price and when in the finance office, know what is/isn't necessary for your vehicle . Most things in the office you don't need. And remember if you can avoid financing it, avoid it. You can pay things out in cash to save interest on vehicle plans and accessories. There is an abundance of info on this on YouTube. Time for consumers to get smart and informed..the dealerships aren't the problem, it's the consumers..we let them get away with it by being lazy uniformed shoppers.
  • Thanks for your insight! I’m thinking about ordering a new Bronco when Ford opens it back up! What do you think about your soft top? Noisy, cold, hot? Bad visibility?
  • @SickMy_Duck
Southgate Ford in Michigan doesn’t have any markup or dealer installed equipment. It’s a great dealer
