The pledge at the end was just what my man needed to get started on the rest of our lives. All Praise is due to Allah!

Wow this was in Houston (my home city) 20 years ago. What happened? Did the message not get spread to make our communities a better place? The city is a lot better then what it was in the 90s but should be more of a improvement in the black community.

At the 33:00 min mark WHY didn't we do this for real? It's been 20 yrs now & I've got family recently moved to Houston; nothing much has changed. Why can't the black family do for themselves today as they did in years past? Look at the communities of Rosewood,Fl circa 1923 and Greenwood in Tulsa,Ok circa 1921. In both cases whites were JEALOUS of black prosperity. In Rosewood an excuse was found to raze the community and in Tulsa no pretense was even bothered with, they just bombed the town.
