I also did not restore any of these songs myself, the cassette tapes containing the higher quality songs that you hear in this video were recovered by Lego Island composer Lorin Nelson and provided the audio rips to projectisland.org for anyone to download for free.
You can download the soundtrack and read more about it here: projectisland.org/music/
Of course, the entire soundtrack is not here, only the ones that are currently known to exist in high quality. The high quality versions of some songs could be missing forever since the original master tapes were lost.

the story of the master tapes being lost in the sea is probably the most lego thing to happen honestly
-
the master tapes were lost in a house boat accident Oh.. the sad, sad irony...
-
The original tapes have fallen into the ocean in LEGO city!! Start the new rescue submarine! HEY!! Construct the submarine, explore the depths, recover the original music, and make it back to shore!! The new submarine set from LEGO city (parts and sets sold separately)
-
This soundtrack is the reason I will never live on a boat.
-
The information center theme was vaporwave before vaporwave. For me. It hits that deep brain connection to my childhood and just instantly makes me smile and relax in a cloud of nostalgic bliss.
-
Information Center is the song I remember the most from this game as a child, now that I’m listening to it again, it could be used as the base for a cool Vaporwave song
-
That police station sax is so smooth. It's like, there's so many genres of music crammed in this game, and yet it never feels like a jack of all trades/master of none situation. They're ALL bangers in their respective genres.

Me and the boys pirating Lego Island: 9:05

HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WHO LIVES IN A PINEAPPLE UNDER THE SEA?? the lego island master tapes
-
Ages 6-12. I'm 20 listening to this soundtrack.
-
9:05 is when me and the goons get out of jail
-
step 1: play Information Center theme step 2: look at Lego logo step 3: examine it step 4: look at Island font step 5: examine it step 6: hear the voices of past memories in song step 7: feel the Lego sensations in your bones, but not your skin step 8: terror

I transcended space and time when the Information Center theme hit
-
This is the only known highest quality music from LEGO Island (1997). The original master tapes were lost in a house boat accident. Also, what I noticed is that the reason why these sound so good are because: In the original CD-ROM that likes to compress the crap out of the music. The music was 11.025KhZ and 1/4 of Human Hearing. Mono sound too. But these renewed versions are double one half the other.

A MASTER TAPE HAS FALLEN INTO THE RIVER
-
The cave theme is the fucking best thing ever. So mysterious, especially when it comes to the door.
-
Ideas for Project Island 1. Restore the original game 2. Find the rest of the unused tracks (send links to them in the comments when they get discovered) 3. Go to the ocean and find the master tapes for fun 4. Find the artists (Decal, the Torpedoes etc...) and get them to make music for the new game 5. Make a recipe for perfectly circular pizza
-
I really really like this OST. It goes from up-beat energetic to mysterious and relaxing. It does it's job perfectly.
-
Fanfare theme sounds like something that would play right before the 6:00 news every night on a news station in the '80s
