I like watching your videos first on mute and a second time with sound! It helps my ASL receptive skills so much 😊
  • Fellow pregnant interpreter here. ☺️ It's so daunting to think about being out of the community and work for a year during mat leave (thanks, Canada), but it's nice to have resources like this to use, plus your family is lovely!

My understanding of the breast feeding and the baby wearing argument, it is not just about feeding and the convenience for the parent (baby in a bouncer seat vs in a baby wrap) it is about attachment parenting. And the importance for social emotional development. I agree with the ear piercing... Let the child decide if he/she wants to put holes in his/her body. Also later there is the responsibility of hygiene and the comprehension of pain
  • I for one would be interested in seeing videos about baby-led weaning and your ideas about homeschooling / choosing a school!

As far as homeschooling goes, I'd be interested to know which curriculum you decide to use, and how you came to that decision.

My Aunt's parents sign and have for their whole life.

Co-sleeping is baby in your room. Bed sharing is the baby in your bed. I thought he was in your room when he was tiny.

Circumcision? His body his choice. It’s not for a parent to decide.

I'm noticing a pattern I go around spreading circumcision information. I don't think parents get enough education from doctors. When the circumcision topic comes up parents are always so vehement about keeping their son uncircumcised.

I'm surprised you'd speak out against ear piercing but not male genital cutting. I get the controversy and the personal-ness of it, but still. Also, I really appreciate how much time and effort it must take for your videos, between the voice over, editing, and the captions! I'm hearing and would be totally ok without the voice over as much as I think it adds to the meaning behind everything
