these back and forths between small towns an John Oliver are probably the best thing about the show... don't get me wrong the info and bringing to light either not well known or entirely unknown problems is great.. but it get depressing after awhile so these pick-me-ups involving charities, naming various things after John, are great.

I have loved John Oliver since Community and his three part series on Gun laws and have been following him on 'last week tonight ' on YouTube. He's fucking fantastic and we happen to agree about everything, like all the morality, ethical issues, social issues, political ..... ETC ..... HE and HIS TEAM are genius. You laugh, get fucking angry, cry ..... get important information leading to discussion about issues ...... IMPORTANT issues. Great content, great man and people who work hard on his show.
