The goal as always is to catch a big bass, but we knew we could also catch perch
After a few minutes we find a huge school of bait fish surrounded by perch and not only them...
We start catching one perch after another on the drop shot and blade bait
Sometimes you see some nice bass but they don't eat
Tia and I have a 1vs1 perch lure fishing challenge
10 minutes whoever catch more. Between him fishing with two rods and me snagging them (by accident of course) I don't know who was the worst
In the end he won the 1vs1 challenge with 3 perch to 2, with 2 of his catches with the rod leaning on the float tube
Let's stop trying to perch, I put on the 10XD of Strike King
After only two casts, a beautiful, chunky bass came unglued for the crank, weighting in at 1,100kg (2.4lb)
Only one more small bass later on but still a nice lure fishing session
Too bad about the 1vs1 challenge lost but Tia cheated
