Coral Beach Hotel

This is an example of one of the hotels that you can find just along the coast from Sharks Bay in Sharm el Sheikh. It shows various positive water saving and recycling techniques, as part of its management strategy, for example, they take water from the sea and process it to use for use in the hotel, and then they re-cycle the waste water to use for the gardens. At the same time, it also shows an example of how the coast is highly developed into a luxurious paradise setting for (now predominantly Russian) tourists, in sharp contrast to the neglected desert, showing something that is happening more and more in Egypt, with a 2 tier economic strata between rich and poor dividing more and more, with all the wealth and development clinging like limpets around the tourism sector, from Sharm el Sheikh, all the way to Cairo and beyond.

@MrMefistofelis: This place (Coral Beach Hotel, Sharm el Sheikh) is Egypt, Sinai, the next video that is suggested by youtube (and nothing to do with my trip to Egypt) is instead CORALLIA BEACH, Cyprus, 2 different places.
