Taccom 2022 Brought us the Non- Restricted Crusader Templar (5.56). somewhere in 2023 they dropped the Crux-308, now 1 year after the release of the Crusader Templar they have announced revisions based on all the feedback and complaints received. That is incredible turnaround to an already successful platform.

The upload i have been waiting for. Templar gen2 looks promising, now we need some more reviews from fellow canucks!

Nice to see they listened, now I’m interested. Biggest thing I wanted to see changed is option for pencil barrel to reduce weight but they went a step further. Great job 👏

a new 308 option in Canada! With all the updates i would love one of these! so happy to see any new options in my country!
  • The Templar is very impressive. It does make me think of the IWI Carmel at first glance.

Super excited with all the improvements over the gen 1, and even better it's across the board improvements. Definitely grabbing a gen 2 crux 308 when I have the chance!!

Looks great! Glad to see the Phillips head screw to stop the charging handle is now a much more aesthetically pleasing hex head!

This video helped me to buy the crux 308 especially after Crusader Arms Spectre Steve Goulet said “right now, if you are watching this video after taccon 2023 if you order a crux 308 or the 556 Templar you will receive the new version lighter weight upgraded from the old style that they had many complaints about, so October 27 2023 I ordered the crux 308 December 11 if finally arrived, they somewhat kept me informed and said they were building & machining my rifle so the 14 day wait turned out to be 30 days. (Yes in that time. Thought I was scammed by an internet scheme) crux arrived and already noticed I did not receive the trigger upgrade Steve and I spoke about, ok fine, than I noticed it was the old version so them saying they are making and machining a new one was a lie, there was scuffs throughout the entire rifle as though it was a display model or used & so I opened it up and found rust in the action and a lot of brass it was used and it was more than test fired cause it was filthy and needed to be cleaned even before use, cleaned it. Now I don’t really want to use it, cause than it will be used for sure… and I will be denied a refund for sure of which I was when emailed crusader arms about the rifle being rusty and dirty. So far my experience with a Canadian brand crusader arms is not worth being patriotic. It’s not buyers remorse either, I am disappointed in this Canadian brand especially in a time when legal law bidding gun owners are under attack by our federal government. At this current time I could never recommend the crux 308 cause the deceptive advertising. I really wanted to love this rifle just like I really wanted to like the new Star Wars and ended up disappointed… Steve Goulet fix this and send me the proper rifle please

Good to see them address literally every complaint i had with the rifle. the extreme front heaviness, the crappy position of the bolt release, the excessive bolt weight, the excessive chonkyness of the handguard even with all the lightening cuts, and the amount of visible screws. hopefully the price and reliability stay the same. only other consideration id have is changing the gas system to the original of the ar180-b which was much lighter and still reliable.

Any idea on the weight savings between gen 1 and gen 2 with pencil barrel?
  • @gregskuza7166
Is there any way to upgrade the old version to new version? I rally dislike the plate on the side of mine!!! But it looks like new lower is different as well…
  • @austinv9964
The .308 would make an incredible DMR (designated marksmen rifle)
  • @papermind4010
The fact they did something to fix over insertion makes me think this has become a solid rifle. I really want to buy Canadian so it’d be cool to see more reviews.
  • @BeniBen
have they resolved the problem with the failed extraction/doubled feed ?
  • @LunchBXcrue
When can i buy the uppers?? Id love to buy swap the upper with the newer one so its a bit lighter, and id also like a 13inch upper for tbose who have their restricted pal
  • I would buy the silver gold one! Sorry for the late reply Alex! My question tho is surplus corrosive ammo with these guns? A SS barrel would be the solution no? I honestly have no knowledge on that. It would be nice to know!

Great Stuff Luv it ' 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
  • @mc-zy7ju
That probably explains the feeding issue I've been having with my 180

The basic version should have a heavy barrel. And an optional pencil one. Hardly anyone shoota tray guns! This is a semi rifle!
