Being a Jain, I appreciate this excellent introductory lecture on Jain Darshan for young people in an academic tone. Thank you for covering so much in so little time with accuracy, especially by someone with a short study period and little or no background in Jain Agamas. It is a perfect lecture for most young people interested in Jainism. For the benefit of more serious students, I will add/correct a very few points discussed in this lecture: - Jain Darshan literature is extremely detailed, consistent in principles, and immensely vast covered through Prathamanuyoga (Jain principles through stories), Karunanuyog (structure of the universe and mathematics), Charananuyoga (conducts of monks and laities)  and Dravyanuyoga (True nature of substances/working of the universe). It isn't easy to cover this, even for lifelong monks who spend a lot of time in study. So, this 2.5 hours does not even scratch the surface. - As per Jains, Jain darshan is not a product of Darshnik Anumans (philosophers' thoughts) but told by Kevali Bhagwan with His omniscient knowledge for the benefit of all living beings. - It is told in the video that Siddh-shila (the abode of the liberated soul) is in Alok-Akash.  As per Jainism, Siddha-Shila is at the top of Lok-Akash. Alok-Akash does not have any of the six Dravyas (Soul, Matter, Dharm, Adharm, Time, or Space). - As per Jain religion, Man-paryay Gyan (Ability of mind reading) and Keval Gyan (Omniscient knowledge) are only possible in the 4th period. Currently, in the 5th period,  it is not possible. Avaadhi Gyan (The ability to know beyond time and space constant in limited context) is likely in the current era but extremely rare.     - Jain literature does not only cover the earth but comprehensively covers the multiple universes in Karunanuyog Granthas in great detail. Samayik (Dhyan) is extremely important in Jainism. Jain monks and senior laities meditate at least three (3) times a day for a minimum of 48 minutes at a time, but mostly it goes on for hours. Without meditation/reflecting on your soul, one cannot stop the inflow of karmas and start shedding old karmas.    -Santhara is an extremely controlled event, permitted by Acharyas only to old/terminally ill adults when the end is near, certain, and there is no possibility of saving your life. It is a process of letting go of the wasteful struggles when there is no possibility of extending life and dying peacefully without attachments or desires with the knowledge that the body is just a Paryay (a form) and the soul is blissful and never dies.  Suicide is an extreme sin in Jainism (more than killing someone else).
