WOW. That is expensive for long term. Is only 1 bedroom

We are family of three and we paying 18k rent for gated subdivision plus utilities here in Mactan cebu. I’m shocked how much more expensive rents are in Duma.
Our houses has white marble floors, counter tops throughout but no swimming pool and out back yard including front yard 3 times bigger then your outside rear deck.
Your place is perfect for you guys but won’t be for me for two reasons…. Double monthly price and being little far from the city. It’s my personal opinion only.
  • Asking way too much. I'm sure people will pay it driving up the market Already decided that area is nice but way too many expats throwing around their money will at some point destroy everything good about that place best wishes to all thanks for sharing

So nice to see you again and hope you can do more videos. You have a calming effect on me. America is going mad. God bless ys-all.
  • WAY TOO MUCH - I pay 25,000/month for a nicer place - with a pool ten times that size.

    Good to see you, family.
By the way, Finn, the vlogger, is partner with Chris, the owner of Pura Vida Resort. Ask for Finn and Chris the next time you go there. They are very nice guys.

Good to bump into you at the Sunday market John. We had a lovely lunch with Tom and Har too. Keep up the good work. Regards, Kevin & Lynne from new Zealand.
  • I have one of the upstairs reserved. I'll be there in about 2 weeks. My fiance and I were there a year ago for a month and we are returning again for a 3 month stay. It will be nice to see you guys again.

John, the first year on the 13a gets you the probationary resident acr i card. You are not allowed during that year to be apart from your wife at any time. When you apply for the permanent resident visa one year later, you will need to submit as a part of that package an affidavit that you were with her in the country, ie the Philippines, the whole time. If you lesve for the states on the probationary, then the next application you will have to start all over again.
That"s the law. I've been through it recently but stayed with wife in country my probationary year, of course. I now have the permanent resident acr i card. Just thought you might like to know this.

John, you will need an ECC and a Reentry Permit. But there's no paperwork involved. As you begin in the line to have your passport checked, there is a immigration Boothe in the same line where you submit your permanent resident card and passport. There you pay 2880 pesos and the receipt they give serves as both the ECC-b and the reentry permit. Hold on to that, you need to show it again when you come back into the Philippines.

Thank You for sharing the budget. I''m happy that you are happy with the accommodations and the benefits of having a good landlord. Oh the dilemma of having too much space vs not enough space and the pros and cons of each. Sorry to hear about Brianna not having her own room. I know you eat healthy are conscious of taking care of yourself. I hope that you are exercising, and staying hydrated. Not sure of your family's medical history so I hope that you will factor in getting preventative tests done. We are always wishing you all the best. Stay cool and enjoy the Philippines! .
