Honestlyโ€ฆ this anime is very grey in terms of morals. Which is how the real world actually is. There was never right or wrong in the world of Eldians vs Marleyans. It was either us or them. If Eren hadnโ€™t done anything then Zeke, his half brother, wouldโ€™ve caused Eldians, Erenโ€™s people, to go extinct. If Eren hadnโ€™t done anything then the Eldians wouldโ€™ve continued to be turned into monsters, used as war machines, for literally no fucking reason. Until they all died out after Zeke put his euthanasia plan to work. It makes so much sense that finally, after years of this bullshit, someone would finally be fed up enough to put an end to all of it. I donโ€™t think Eren is evil. He isnโ€™t good, either. I think heโ€™s just tired. Iโ€™m honestly so sick of people comparing him to Hitler though. His reason for genocide isnโ€™t even remotely in the same comparison category. Not saying itโ€™s right, Eren committing mass genocideโ€ฆ but it isnโ€™t necessarily wrong either. Itโ€™s a grey area. Us or them. You or me. My people or your people. Thatโ€™s how the world is. Isayama captured it perfectly.

I remember when everyone thought Grisha was this behind the shadows mastermind villain but turned out to be one of the most miserable characters.
  • @ErenYega747
The voice actor for Grisha came back for just one episode of the whole season and for that one episode he made one of the best performances of the series and totally stole the show, and then mic dropped and left
  • @PaytonSolaire
The shock of Zeke's face when he realizes how much of a victim Grisha was this whole time rather than the perpetrator is so well done
  • Grisha is the most tragic character in aot. He got his sister killed, his dad did nothing about it, Zeke betrayed him, lost his wife and comrades, got a second chance, had to kill children, and died in mental anguish due to what heโ€™d done and learning of Carlaโ€™s death.
  • Aot season 4 either has eren glow up edits or the darkest/saddest edits youโ€™ll ever find, there is no in between.

"Zeke, I love you"... this part still make me cry. The way Zeke's eye just filled up with tears. He looked finally at peace :"''(

To this day, the dogs eating chunks of grisha's little sister faye and then killing her still traumatizes me

Freedom has a price, the more someone has it, the less someone else has it

This is the greatest plot twist in all of fiction and u wont convince me otherwise

Being able to spot the titans out of Grishaโ€™s group was always so crazy . Itโ€™s masterful how everything tied back

I dont think there will be an anime like AoT. It's flawless
  • @Andre27Dek
dude, really, I have been watching this for the ENTIRE week. You have made an incredible job, thats so emotional and beautiful and captures the tragedy of Grisha so much
  • "as i stood on mountain of corpses no one behind me no on before me, all i saw was .. freedom"

Eren knew that only a monster would save Eldia. Through the generations no one had the guts to do what was necessary and when Eren saw that through the attack titan's visions, he made the decision. He decided to become the monster. Even if that meant to lose it all (I donโ€™t think that itโ€™s a coincide that the opening says exactly the same).

The story got so dark its honestly hard to watch. I'm not easily disturbed but season 4 created such a feeling within me that I can't even put into words. Poor Grisha... without a doubt, the most tragic character to be written.
  • Once he saw the truth, there was no going back. Even if he didn't attack Marley, they would still attack Paradis. Eren was between a rock and a hard place.

Aot literally broke me. Thank you for this masterpiece isayama

Grisha died like this. Grisha died knowing his whole life was one mistake after the other, that he never made up for them, that his oldest son was at the mercy of his youngest son, who was going to succeed on his hate-filled crusade to destroy the world, all because of the cycle that he started. He fought because his sister was torn up by rabid dogs, and it ended in the world being torn up by the rabid dog that is his son.
