The worst bit about paarthurnax is that when you chat to him about killing him, he tells that it’s probably in all fairness, a good idea because to fight his destructive nature is a constant struggle, and he doesn’t know if he’ll one day succumb to those desires.

You know, its funny. This video was what inspired me to learn more about hollow knight, and now its one of my favorite games, all because I thought "hey that fight is sad, but in a very real way and its not a metaphor for something. Paarthurnax? That's weird, I remember there only being one option to that Blades quest, forsaking the Blades for even suggesting that I fight my cool dragon friend. THE ONLY OPTION.
