Kitchen Table is NOT Where Business is Done Anymore! - Why Should You Care?

Published 2024-04-17
In this video, Joshua Griffin goes through a business practice that is not practiced nearly as much as it used to be. Business used to be done at the kitchen table, and that is not where business is done anymore. Why should you care? There are certain things that should be done during that kitchen table moment that are being missed, because business is not done at the kitchen table anymore. Some of these things include the contractor connecting with the homeowner and educating them on important details of their HVAC system, among other things. Watch this video to find out the things that should be covered, regardless of where business is done.

After spending $10,000 or $15,000 on a new HVAC system, you bet I will want a decent review about the operation and maintenance needs. I am also the type who wants all of the papers that came inside the boxes, manuals, installation instructions, warnings, parts list etc. I want them all. I would also ask the contractor to bring me 2 extra quality capacitors, one for both the condenser and the blower, and I would ask for a case of filters for the returns. I'm a little surprised this isn't a standard practice. There's probably a lot of folks who only want to know how to turn it on/off and set the temps...but at least they get the documents and an attempted review. That's probably when a cell phone video would be nice to take of the condenser, blower/evap/heater and thermostat with views of the information plates so they have the model/serial numbers in the video along with your voice describing them briefly.
