We joined the Papas, Mamas, and Wannabes for all the contest festivities, from the preliminaries that whittled 150 contestants down to 12, to the Cuban Yo-Yo Fishing Tournament and the "Bull" Run, before the final 12 took the stage to compete for Papa 2023. These events are all part of the larger Hemingway Days festival, which celebrates the life and work of Ernest Hemingway while raising funds for local Key West scholarships.
