Adeptus Mechanicus Chant for the Consecration of a New Machine - [Warhammer 40k Themed Music]

Published 2022-01-21
Praise the Omnissiah!
My weak fleshy mind and body pales in comparison to the power of the Digital Audio Workstation.
May I one day emulate the perfection of the machine in my being.

The Cult Mechanicus are my third favourite faction in the 40k lore, and I've always wanted to set some of the Imperium texts to music so I had a go at this.

The Chant:
Oh great Vessel of Honour,
May your servo-motors be guarded,
Against malfunction,
As your spirit is guarded from impurity.
We beseech the Machine God to watch over you.
Let flow the sacred oils,
And let not the sorrows of the Seven Perplexities
trouble thine pistons.
Let flow the blessed unguents,
And may thine circuitry remain divinely blessed.

I don't play the actual wargame sadly, but I live vicariously through the lore and the spinoff video games. If you play this track before a game for your AdMech units you're guaranteed to win however.

It'd be funnier if the lyrics were just text from instruction manuals, it's not bizarre for the Adeptus mechanicus to do so

Deep Lore: The Singer is a Servitor and all day, every day it just sings this song while walking around the motor pool. Been doing it for centuries. Nobody even remembers who provided the components, but the eyes seem to be still aware and pleading for help
  • This song now plays on loop endlessly in the factory where I work, productivity has doubled and defects are nonexistent. The staff are even bolting tools directly into their bones, blessed be the machine.

The mechanicus do not hate the flesh They're are only disapointed by it's weakness A marvelous piece btw
  • I actually like this one specific mechanicus chant because it always means there is new destructive toy to kill heretics with.

An excellent rendition of the first verse of this chant. I eagerly await the next three-hundred-seventy-five. They are crucial to the consecration process, after all.

As a Christian orthodox it scares me how accurate to actual chants this is. Holy fuck I actually got shivers

I know nothing about electronics. Played this on full blast while red neck engineering LEDs for my servo skull and it turned on flawlessly
  • I have wanted to hear something like this for so long in the Mechanicus. Hail the Omnissiah, holy be the Deus Mechanicus!

Me assembling my new pc and turning it on for the first time be like
  • Love this!! I always saw the Mechanicum as closer to the Orthodox Church (not to mention heavy greek terms!) compared to the Ecclesiarchy which was analogous to the Catholic church. Would really appreciate and love to see you make a 40k version of the Byzantine chant - Δεύτε λαοί or something similar!! Keep up the great work, im a fan!
